We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join OKU Kos, the original five-star OKU location on the north coast of Kos island for adults-only.

Working from OKU´s beautiful Michelin-key awarded property on the north coast of Kos - and recently named by Forbes as one of the best beach resorts in Europe - this hands-on role invites the candidate to become part of an award-winning brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the wait staff during shifts.
  • Train new wait staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Manage table assignments, reservations, and seating arrangements to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure that food and beverages are served according to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other restaurant employees to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Encourage wait staff to upsell menu items, specials, and beverages.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs to FB Service Manager.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and reconcile cash drawers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 5-star Hotel.
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism will be considered as an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset.
  • Experienced in computer (preferably knowledgeable of MICROS and POS handling).
  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
  • Pleasant personality, customer oriented.
